How to Apply

1. Once the construction works of a warehouse is completed, the owner of the warehouse/architecture has to head to the town hall office, general secretariat office within twenty (20) working days of the completion of the construction work and makes a request for conformity and habitability.
2. Collect all necessary application forms and fill them accurately, attach the supporting documents {as listed below under required documents section} and submit them to be verified by the agent responsible and obtain the request for certificate of conformity discharge.
3. The application file will then be forwarded to the town hall department responsible, which will then set up a study commission that will organize a visit to the warehouse premises with the applicant within 3-5 days.
4. On the schedule inspection date, the study committee will travel to the premise to inspect the warehouse if its compliance with all the plans drawn up for the construction of the warehouse and writes a report finding.
5. The application file and the inspection report finding are then forwarded to the general secretariat office for further assessment and decision making.
6. If the general secretariat/authorized officer is certified that all the conditions as set for the application are met, the certificate will be drawn up by the department responsible for issue to the applicant within 10-20 days.
7. The owner of the warehouse/architect revisits the town hall office, One-Stop Shop for building permits unit and collects the certificate of conformity and habitability against the request for certificate of conformity discharge and national identity card.
