How to Apply

1. Applicant should visit the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, please view {office location and contact section below} for the address details.
2. Head to the Office of the Mic Manager and pay the processing fee as per your investment and obtain the receipt of public treasury.
3. Then head to the Administrative Secretariat of the Ministry office, collect all necessary application forms and fill then accurately.
4. Submit the completed form, attached to the supporting documents (as listed below under required documents section below) to the attending agent to be verified and recorded and obtain an acknowledgment slip.
5. The Office of the Director General of Industry will within 7-10 days send its agent to the site, to inspect the industry and write it recommendation on the list of required equipment’s that are required to be installed for the industry to be able to operate.
6. The application file and the recommendations will then be forwarded to the Office of the Director General of Industry for further assessment, approval and signing.
7. After the study of the file and site inspector’s recommendations the director general of industry will approve your request and issue you with the industrial installation authorization permit, outlining the required equipment that is required to be installed in the industry before commencing operation.

• Extract from the trade register and movable property
• Company statutes (simple copy)
• Lease contract or title deed (simple copy)
• Certificate of environmental compliance or a letter sent to DG ABE to inform them of the project (simple copy)
• Request addressed to the minister in charge trade (original + simple copy)
• Receipt of public treasury (original + simple copy)

Processing fee is

• FCFA 30,000 for an investment less than or equal to 20 million FCFA
• FCFA 50,000 for an investment between 20 to 500 million FCFA
• FCFA 100,000 for an investment exceeding 500 million FCFA

• This authorization permit is issued so as to enable the installation of the right equipment intended to be used in the industry i.e., air ventilation/filter equipment’s, manufacture or processing equipment’s for consumable products and other products that are habitually or customarily processed or storage equipment.
