1. For applicants in Belize, you must first pay the application fee in person at the closest government sub-treasury. Use this form to make sure your fee is applied correctly. The fee is BZ$45.
2. One you have paid the application fee, the actual application is online.
3. You will need to return to the office to claim your approved documents upon presentation of proof of identity.

A work permit will not be issued to a visitor or tourist who resides in Belize for a period of less than six months.

• General Workers (Except Seasonal Agricultural Workers): Fixed fee of $200.00 per annum
• Seasonal Agricultural Workers: Fixed fee of $50.00 per annum
• Religious, Educational and Voluntary Workers: Fixed fee of $50.00 per annum
• Entertainers performing alone: Fee of $300.00 for any period up to one week
• In groups of six persons or more: Fee of $750.00 for any period up to one week
• Entertainers performing in Groups of two or more but up to one week: Fee of $500.00 for any period less than six persons
