1. To apply for a license to operate a live-aboard vessel, you will need to submit an application form to the Registrar of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation.
2. A link to the form is provided under 'Documents to Use' section.
3. Submit the completed application together with all other required documents (see list below).
4. Pay the Bze $ 25.00 registration fee, plus a license fee of Bze $ 5.00 per cabin. Taxes are paid at US$ 10.00 per passenger per 7- day voyage. All payments are to be made to the Belize Tourism Board.

Liveaboard can refer to someone who makes a boat, typically a small yacht in a marina, their primary residence. Powerboats and cruising sailboats are commonly used for living aboard, as well as houseboats which are designed primarily as a residence. A boat designed for people to live aboard it.
