To obtain a proof of residence in Brussels, applicants must be or have been domiciled in the City.

• Proof of residence: 3.75 euro
• Costs nothing in the context of free legal assistance or a justice of the peace, in the context of a request by the Prince Laurent Foundation, a public real estate office, the disaster foundation.

The procedure can be done:

• by the applicant
• by a third person in possession of a request made by a lawyer, a justice of the peace, a legal service.
• by a third person who holds a proxy and the ID card (or a copy) of the applicant (and his or her own ID card)

Proof of residence is designed to be presented or prove the addresses in connection with an investigation of justice, a lawyer, a notary or a magistrate. The proof of residence includes the address or different addresses where the applicant lived.
