1. To Apply for Setting Up a Printing Press in Bangladesh, the applicant has to approach the Bangladesh Security Printing Press link

   Note: The applicant has to register their business in the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) in Bangladesh.

2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
5. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
6. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
7. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
8. The applicant will get the approval for starting Printing from the office.
9. This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

• The printing press is a device that allows for the mass production of uniform printed matter, mainly text in the form of books, pamphlets and newspapers.

• The printing press is going to employ more than 10 workers, the applicant will need to obtain a factory license from the DIFE in Bangladesh. The applicant can apply for a factory license by submitting the required documents and application form to the DIFE office.
