Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant should submit an application to the Port Department (Nassau),Prince George Wharf, P.O. Box N-8175, Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas.
2. The application can be collected from the appropriate office.
3. Complete the application and submit the Port Department along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section along with the corresponding fees.
4. For new applications it may take Up to 2 weeks and for renewal applications it may take 3-7 business days.
   

Apply Online

1. To obtain a Watercraft License, the applicant has to submit an application Form Online along with the supporting documents and corresponding Fees.
2. The Applicant can click the below link to register online: Form Link.
3. The Applicant has to choose from the Application type (New/Renew/Transfer) by clicking the respective radio button.
4. Continue by adding the water craft details by clicking on the “Click here to add a watercraft” tab and enter the craft details.
5. After filling the details click on the “Add Boat” tab at the end of the page.
6. Now Enter the details required in the application and submit enter.
7. Upload the supporting documents and pay the fees pay online using Digi Pay platform.
8. After submitting the application online Contact Port Office at 322-8832 or portcustomerservice@bahamas.gov.bs for all inquiries
9. For new applications it may take Up to 2 weeks and for renewal applications it may take 3-7 business days.

Vessel Length Fee : $10.00

Item : 15 feet or more but less than 30 feet
Vessel Length Fee : $20.00

Item : 30 feet or more but less than 50 feet
Vessel Length Fee : $200.00

Item : 100 feet or more
Vessel Length Fee : $4000.00
