Apply In-Person:

1. Persons interested in renting or using the dance school must apply to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture. contact Link
2. The application forms may be collected at any of the addresses outlined in the “Office Location and Contacts” section below.
3. The applicant must fill out and submit the application form to the Department of Culture.
4. No supporting documents are required.
5. Once the application is received, the Department of Culture will process the application.
6. If approved, a payment slip will be generated.
7. The payment slip will contain the detail of the room that the applicant is allowed to use and the due date for payments.
8. When the payment slips are ready, the department contacts applicants.
9. Applicants may only collect the payment slip at the Department of Culture.
10. Once payment is made, the applicant will receive an approval letter stating the parameters of use of the facility.
11. The applicant is then free to utilise the facilities as prescribed.

List down the documents required for successfully completing the procedure.

Anyone can rent the rooms, however, the rooms will not be rented to persons who are charging a fee for classes.

One Studio – BS$20 per hour/ BS$50 per day (three or more hours)
Two Studios – BS$40 per hour/ BS$70 per day
Entire facility – BS$70 per hour/ BS$100 per day
Discounted rates are approved for specific organisations only.

Validity will be mentioned in the approval letter stating the parameters of use of the facility.

• Rooms are rented on a first come first serve basis.

All Persons interested in using the Dance school facility must apply to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.

• The National Dance School of The Bahamas has three dance studios that can be rented for rehearsals.
• The facility is available for rental 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Mondays through Thursdays, and 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays.
• Weekend Rental is dependent upon special request and review by the ministry.
