Apply In-Person:

1. To open a Postal Savings Account, one must visit the nearest Post Office. Check the “Office Location & Contacts” section for list of locations where this service is available.
2. Complete the following forms
   • Depositor’s Book Link to Download Form
   • Post Office Savings Bank Personal Information Update Form Link to Download Form
3. Submit completed application forms along with relevant supporting documents.
4. Deposit at least BS$3.00 to the account.
5. The Clerk at the Bank will issue a Pass Book to the Applicant.

All citizens and businesses can open a savings account at the Bahamas Post Offices. The Savings bank at the Post Office is a thrift bank as opposed to a Commercial Bank.
