1. To Obtain Photocopy of Commutation, the applicant has to approach the Department of Lands And Survey, The Bahamas.

3. Visit the office and request for the Photocopy of Commutation from the concerned authority.
4. Pay a fee of $1.50 and collect the document once it is ready.
5. The process takes around 7 days approximately.

• A commutation document is a type of executive clemency that does not change or reverse a finding of guilt. But it reduces or eliminates a prisoner's sentence.
