Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant (Individual/Company) must Place an advertisement for the vacancy in the Bahamian daily newspaper for a minimum of three days.
2. The Applicant must submit the copy of the newspaper page on which the vacancy advertisement appears, along with the original payment receipt and proof of Bahamian nationality or permanent resident status, to the Labour's Accounting Section of the Department of Labour.

4. The Applicant must also submit a Notification of Vacancy form, in duplicate after submitting the above documents and pay the corresponding fees.
5. The Applicant can collect the Notification of Vacancy Form at the Accounting Section, Department of Labour or download the from the following Form Link.
6. The Accounting Section would issue a receipt to the applicant and inform when the applicant should return to the Department of Labour for feedback.
7. The Applicants receive feedback within four weeks.

• Anyone who wants to hire non-Bahamians must be a Bahamian national or have permanent residence status in the Bahamas.

A BS$50.00 application fee is non-refundable. It must be paid in cash or by certified check made out to the Treasury Department.
