Apply In-Person

1. To Change your Business Name, the applicant has to submit an application in Form A along with the supporting documents and corresponding Fees, to the Business Licence Office.
2. The Applicant can collect the form from the Business License Office or download the Form from the below link:Form Link.
3.  The applicant must tick the “change in Business Name” box on the form. Where there are no Business Licence Offices, the form can be returned to a Treasury Office or a Family Island Administrator.
4. If any identified names are rejected, the applicant will be notified that the name choice was rejected and would be advised to select from the remaining choices previously given on the form.
5. On approval of the documents the name is approved.
6. The application is then processed within 7 working days.
7. The Business License Unit office will contact the applicant to inform them that they can collect their licence.
8. The applicant has to pay the licence fee on collection of the licence.

• Valid ID, Drivers Licence, Passport
• Letter of authorization for Third Parties/Appointed Representatives, where a Third Party is used, such as an accountant or lawyer authorising them to conduct business on their behalf.
