Financial and Corporate Service Providers

1. The applicant can submit a company name change request through the Financial and Corporate Service Providers.
2. The Financial and Corporate Service Providers visits to the Registrar General's Department, Companies Section to request a name change and pay the appropriate charge.
3. The process will take a minimum of 72 hours to update the name change in the records of the Company’s Registry Section of the Registrar General’s Department.

Registered Agents (RAs)

1. Every company incorporated in Bahamas must have a registered Agent.
2. The applicant can submit a company name change request through the registered Agent, who will  access the Registrar General’s “Agent Internet Module” and apply online for the company name change, and also pay the corresponding Fee.
3. The process will take a minimum of 72 hours to update the name change in the records of the Company’s Registry Section of the Registrar General’s Department.

No supporting documents are required for this service.

• The new name must have already been reserved.

• A cost of BS$100.00 is charged for an International Business Corporation.
• The charge for a Regular Company is BS$30.00.
