Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant has to submit all supporting documents to the Road Traffic Department.

3. The Family Island Application can be filed to the Family Island Road Traffic Department, which is located on the principal family islands. Otherwise, you can submit your application to the Family Island Commissioner's Office.
4. After that, the clerk will go over all of the documents and issue a payment slip.
5. The Applicant will receive a receipt after paying the requisite fee to the cashier.
6. The Applicant will be contacted the following week to pick up the new plates.

• Vehicle Disc
• Identification
• A Police Report (if lost or stolen)

This service has no qualifying requirements.

The processing fee is BS$5.00 per plate or BS$10.00 per set (two plates).

There are no deadlines for this service.
