Bahamas - Apply for Certified Youth Leader


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Certified Youth Leader in person, the applicant has to visit any nearest office of the Department of Youth in his/her state of residence.The address and contact details can be found in the “Office Locations & Contacts” Section below. Or you may follow this Link
  2. Forms may be collected at the Department of Youth or it can be downloaded by clicking the Link
  3. The applicant will have to fill out and submit the application form, along with the supporting documents (as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page), to the Department of Youth.
  4. The Department of Youth, by phone or in writing, will acknowledge the receipt of the application for a Youth Leaders Certification programme.
  5. The Department of Youth will also inform the applicant regarding the orientation day and the start date of the programme.
  6. After successful completion of the Youth Leaders Certification programme, the participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Fees

There is a non-refundable registration fee of BS$25.


Validity

This course is designed to cover a ten week period, comprising nice sessions, and a field study.
