Bahamas - Apply for Bahamas host Certification Programme


Procedure

Apply In-Person

  1. The applicant has to submit an application form to the Ministry of Tourism.
  2. Visit the following Contact Details Link.
  3. The applicant can obtain a hardcopy of the form for completion at the Training and Education Department situated at Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Training and Education Department. Complete the application form with all details.
  4. After filling in all the details, submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Training and Education Department along with the corresponding Fee.
  5. The applicant will be contacted by the Training and Education Department within a day to update on the status of application.

Eligibility

Anyone working in the Bahamas' national workforce, particularly in the tourism sector, such as hotel personnel, straw vendors, hair braiders, public service drivers, and sales staff, is eligible to apply.


Fees

A fee of BS$100.00 is charged for this service.


Validity

The application will be valid for two years.
