  • Passport (if expired, unequivocal recognition of the applicant / the applicant)

Loss / Theft - Was the passport stolen , a domestic theft display is needed. In case of loss of the oral notification to the passport authority is sufficient.

In individual cases, the passport authority of other documents are required - especially if it has doubts about the correctness of the data ( eg writing).

• In statutory cities : the City Council
  • In Vienna: the municipal district offices

The application for the issuance of identity cards can domestically - regardless of residence - are made ??for each passport authority.

Application for the ID is done in Austria. You may go to any passport offices, regardless of residence.

Some communities accept passport applications and they forward them to the competent authority.
