Disability Pass may be availed by persons:

• Who resides in Austria and belongs to the following group:

  • Recipients / beneficiaries of care allowance or comparable benefits under federal law regulations
  • Recipients / beneficiaries of increased family allowance
  • Recipients / beneficiaries of a monetary incapacity benefit, disability , incapacity or permanent disability
• Whose degree of disability or the loss of earning capacity is at least 50 percent.

People with disabilities who used to live abroad but stay for professional or personal reasons regularly in Austria, may apply for a disabled pass.
