The application for renewal of the license is to be made within thirty days from the date of its expiry.
Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant has to submit an application for renewal addressed to the DC of the concerned municipal corporation/municipality where the trade license was obtained.
2. Link for contact details: District wise please select the respective district name and reach the portal. In the respective district page, user can navigate “Contact us” or “Know the department” or “Administration” menu options to get the contact details.
3. Go to the respective office.
4. Collect the applicable application form or write on a plain A4 paper as per advice.
5. Submit the completed application form along with required document. Please check the required documents section of this page.
6. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees / charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
7. This application will be processed internally.
8. Applicant gets notification from the department through their registered mobile number. So, please follow the department notification.
9. On successful completion of the process, renewed trade license will be delivered as per applicable norms.

Note:

• It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department..

Apply Online:

1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to make the application online via – link
2. The applicant has to click the “Renew Trade license”.
3. The applicant has to enter the license number.
4. Enter the contact details and click the “Get OTP” button.
5. Enter the OTP and click the “Verify” button.
6. Enter all the necessary details in the application form.
7. Also, upload all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. After completing all the details click “Submit for secure online payment”.
9. Pay the fee online mode and click the “Submit” button.
10. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees/charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
11. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
12. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
13. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are complied with by the applicant, authorities will issue an order to make applicable payment.
14. The applicant shall make the payment as advised.
15. After all the above steps, the applicant gets a notification from the department. Please follow the notification to get the license.
16. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are not complied with by the applicant, the application by rejected.
17. This entire process can be completed within 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply through CSC:

1. To Renew Trade License, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC center – link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
10. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
11. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
12. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
14. The applicant will get a renewal license by visiting the center.
15. This entire process can be completed within 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
