To obtain a Goods carriage Permit, you would have to reach your local RTO Office who should be able to help you fillup an application form and guide you in the correct direction. There are also applications forms linked with this page which you could use.

Apply Online:

1. To apply for goods carriage permit, the applicant has to visit the official portal of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways: Link to Portal
2. In the homepage, please scroll down to “Informational Services” and click on the “more” button in the “Citizen Guide” tab.
3. The applicant will be taken to the “Manual” page where all the available services will be listed.
4. Please click on the name of the required service and click on “Step by Step procedure” from the drop down menu.
5. The applicant will be taken to a new PDF page where the process for applying will be explained clearly.
6. Please follow the steps to complete the application.
