• Go to Arkansas Department of Health you can receive the divorce certificate the same day, if you have all the required information needed to search for the certificate.

By Mail

1. Print and complete the request form mail along with a check or money order to Arkansas Department of Health, Vital Records Slot 44, 4815 West Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205.
2. Check or money order should be made payable to Arkansas Department of Health

• Divorce records are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from 1923 to present.
• Arkansas Vital Records does not have the actual Divorce license or divorce decree. If you want a copy of the actual license or decree you must contact the County Clerk or Circuit Clerk office where the Divorce or divorce was recorded. Arkansas Vital Records issues a certified copy of the coupon of Divorce or divorce in paper form which is accepted by all state and federal government offices.
• Most certificate requests can be processed the same day if you are in the Vital Records office by 4:00 P.M. and have all the required information needed to search for the certificate.
• Customers who arrive in the office after 4:00 P.M. may pick up their request the following day or may ask that it be mailed.
