Need for the Document

[edit]

Telecommuting is a way to organize and work remotely through the use of information technology and communication (ICT), where the telecommuter works somewhere outside his/her employer's business establishment or office.

The Certification of Competency in Telecommuting is the accreditation of knowledge acquired in practice, regardless of how they were acquired. Assessment instruments where the issuance of the certificates is based are made according to the standards developed by specialists.

Issuance of Certificate of Compentency for Telecommuters is a project created by Argentina's Ministry of Labour that aims to improve the chances of telecommuters who obtain the certificate of being employed. This involves a public, formal recognition of temporal experience and skills of the certificate holder.
