1. You may apply for the procedure at a SIAC service unit.
2. Complete an application form.
3. Submit the completed form along with all other required documents.
4. Pay the application fee.

Driving school licensed by DNVT

1. Go to a driving school licensed by DNVT to apply for the procedure - list.
2. Submit a completed application along with all other required documents.
3. The driving school will forward your application to DNVT.
4. Once your request is validated by DNVT, your card will be issued and delivered to the driving school.
5. Collect your driver's license.

• Proof of employment
• Original and photocopy of your foreign driver's license
• Photocopy of resident card or passport with visa

You may exchange your foreign driver's license provided that your home country or the issuing country provides the same or identical licensing standards and procedures to the one observed in Angola.

Explain the fees structure which is required for obtaining the certificate/document.

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever

It will take about 3 days to process your application.

A driving license is an official document which states that a person may operate a motorized vehicle, such as a motorcycle, car, truck or a bus, on a public roadway.

If you are a foreigner staying in Angola for a long period and you hold a valid driver's license, you may convert or exchange your foreign driver's license for a local one.
