3. Present the forms at the Angolan Consulate in your country.
4. The applicant is given a receipt proving the entry visa application presentation
   
   

The best way to acquire a transit visa is on arrival at the airport or port of Entry one has to do the following:-

• Reach the airport;
• Fill in the application form;
• Present all the necessary documents;
• Make payment; and
• Get a visa

1.Two Transit visa application forms fully completed

2.Two recent color passport photographs, size 4x5cm, with white background

3.Passport or any other valid journey document, accredited by Angolan authorities

4.Proves to be the holder of the entry visa for the destination country or to be exempt from this

5.Hold an airfare ticket for the destination country

Those who wish to pass through Angola to another destination outside Angola are usually required to have a Transit visa.

Charges are at a cost of $30 USD, or $39, USD in case of urgent application

Valid for a 5 day stay in Angola, with one or two entrances and is not extendable

• Carry a genuine passport/travel document with validity beyond one year.
• On arrival fill in arrival declaration cards on arrival. Comply with other immigration formalities including the provision of required biometric information.
• Immigration authorities at the port of arrival reserve the right of admission on transit.
• A visitor pass for a specific duration is granted by the Immigration authorities on arrival to permit the holder stay in the Angola for the period granted in the Transit pass.
• Arriving visitors should not carry or convey substances or goods prohibited by customs during their transt.
• Individual pass through Angola should not overstay their transit pass otherwise they will be subjected to a fine of U$ 30 per day and other appropriate legal action including prosecution and deportation.
• Engagement in employment on basis of visitors pass is strictly prohibited. Offenders can be prosecuted.
• An west African Tourist Visa is multiple entries Visa and shall be valid for 90 days.
• Dependents must also apply in their own right.
• Entry should be made only through the countrys gazetted ports of entry/exit.
• All individuals wish to pass through Angola must comply with immigration legislation and other national laws of the country during their transit in Angola.

A transit visa is granted to someone who, in order to get to his/her country of destination, has to stopover in national territory.

The foreign citizen of a country without Diplomatic or Consular in Angola must do the visa application in the nearest country from the origin country or usual place of residence.
