Apply In-Person

1. Applicant should approach the Local tehsil office or panchayat office to apply for Poverty Certificate
2. Written application in white paper must be addressed to the tehsildhar or panchayat sarpanj
3. Make sure you have all required document to apply
4. Complete the application and attached with proper document
5. As per requirement, pay the appropriate fees and submit the application to the relevant authority
6. After verifying the details and conducting a local inquiry in to the facts and merits of the case, the concerned authority will issue the occupation certificate.
   
   

Apply through CSC Centers

1. To obtain a Poverty Certificate in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the applicant has to visit the following link: Link.
2. Now click on the "Application Form" button on the webpage.
3. A new page will open up where the applicant is required to fill up all the necessary details.
4. Now, download the completed application form and submit it to the nearest kiosk centre either by post or in person.
5. A certificate will be issued in 5 working days which the applicant shall collect for the department of panchayat raj/RD office.
