Following are the ways through which you can apply for caste certificate or OBC certificate in Andaman and Nicobar.

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the caste certificate approach the Tehsildar officer who is regulated under the Department of District Collectorate.
2. Application forms can be obtained from the Tehsildar office of the area that you visit.
3. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
4. Submit the form to the District Collectorate office along with the required documents. More details about the District Collectorate office location is provided in the following Office Location
5. Refer the District Collectorate Office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
6. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
7. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
8. Use acknowledgment slip to obtain OBC certificate from the concerned office.
   
   

Apply Online
To apply for the caste certificate in Andaman and Nicobar through online follow the procedure given below

1. Click on the link to visit citizen login portal.
2. Also you can visit the CSC login by clicking the below link to apply for OBC certificate CSC Login
3. Enter the valid Email id and password.
4. If you don’t have an Email id create a new one by clicking “Create account” in the citizen login.
5. Click on “Usefulservice” which is displayed on the home page of the portal.
6. Then the list of online service will be displayed on the screen, select the application for OBC certificate.
7. The application form for the OBC certificate will open up on the next screen.
8. Fill the application with the required details and attach the prescribed documents mentioned in the required documents section below.
9. Click on the “Submit” button after completing the details in the application form.
10. Upon submission, the applicant will receive acknowledgement slip as the confirmation of submission.
11. After verification, the applicant can obtain OBC certificate from the concerned authority with the help of acknowledgement slip.

The following documents must be attached with the form to apply for caste or OBC certificate

• 2 Passport size photograph of the applicant, with complete address and contact number.
• Proof of residence.
• Proof of age like Birth certificate, Matriculation certificate or school leaving certificate.
• Local certificate of the applicant and Parents.
• Pension paper: if parents pensioner.
• Death Certificate, if parents expired.
• Family Income Certificate from concerned Tehsildar, if applicant not Govt. Servant.
• Pay Certificate, if Govt. Servant. Income Tax returns of last 3 years for businessman.
