• Submit the forms and the required documents at the police inspectorate office for processing

• Birth certificate in special format 12-S;

• Proof of employment or certificate of school attendance for students;
• Four recent photographs;

An application form for acquiring a biometric passport in Algeria is available on the website of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Governments

When children are added to their mother's passport or are issued passport, a notarized father's authorization is required.

Children above fifteen (15) should benefit from the individual passport.

Children under fifteen (15) can be listed in the father's or mother's passports.

Algeria issue both bio-metric and ordinary passports.
