Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the Regulatory Approvals Centre.

- Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the relevant department. Or click here to download: Application form
- The applicant can fill the application form online as well as offline. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
- Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. Fees details can be obtained from the office and paid through any of the available payment modes.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
- Within six weeks, on completion of the review, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the Registration Certificate.
Apply through email
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration through email, the applicant has to send an application to the email address of the Regulatory Approvals Centre.

- First, download the application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the following Application form
- The applicant can fill the application form online as well as offline. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature. Make scanned copies of the application and other documents.
- Then, send the application package to the above mentioned email address. Fees details can be obtained from the office and paid through any of the available payment modes.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
- Within six weeks, on completion of the review, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the Registration Certificate.
Apply through fax
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration through fax, the applicant has to forward an application to the fax number of the Regulatory Approvals Centre.

- First, download the application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the following Application form
- The applicant can fill the application form online as well as offline. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
- Then, send the application and required documents to the above mentioned fax number. Fees details can be obtained from the office and paid through any of the available payment modes.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.

- Any business in Alberta, that intends to offer or provide a pesticide use or application service, can apply.
- Companies in Alberta, that intends to use or apply pesticide on a right-of-way, can also apply.
Fees
- Fees details can be obtained from the office and paid through any of the available payment modes.
Validity
Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

- The application processing takes six weeks.

Instructions
- The applicants should complete the application form with all mandatory details provided with absolute legibility.
- The applicants are advised to attach all the required documents without any insufficiency, to avoid rejections and delay in processing.

- Operating name of the company
- Physical and mailing address
- Pesticide Storage address
- Legal land description and/or Block Plan number
- Details of the Authorized Representative
- Details of the Chief Executive Officer/Owner
- Contact person details (for 24-hour Emergency Contact)
- Details of Certified Pesticide Dispensers
Need for the Document
- Any business entity in Alberta, that intends to apply pesticides as a service or on rights-of-way, public land or in forest management, must possess a Service Registration.
Other uses of the Document/Certificate
