3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to nearby Bureau of land management district offices.
7. The Fee for this procedure is mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
8. The BLM (Bureau of land management) will examine the application for completeness and accuracy.
9. Once all the verification process is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through a mail.
10. The applicant has to get the certificate by visiting the office.
11. The processing time for this procedure is up to 15-30 days.

In contrast, a mill site may be located on nonmineral land and must be used to support a lode or placer mining claim operation or support itself independent of a particular claim. A tunnel site contains a tunnel to a lode mine or is used to discover previously unknown lode mineral deposits.
