1. To Get a duplicate voter identity card, the applicant has to approach the US Election Assistance Commission link

   Note: the applicant has to select their respective state from the drop-down menu to find nearby offices.

2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
4. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. The applicant should attach photocopies of the required documents while submitting it.
6. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Applicant can submit the application form and the documents to the respective office.
8. The authority will review the application form and documents, upon successful completion the authority will issue the duplicate voter card.
9. The applicant can get the duplicate voter card in mail.
10. This entire process can be completed within 15- 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective Authority.
