1. To Get Emergency Locator Information, the applicant has to approach the U.S. Agency for International Development link
2. The applicant has to download the form from the following link
3. The applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to the M/HR/POD/T3, USAID /W.
6. Agency will contact the applicant relative(s) or friend(s) that list in the application form.
7. Once all the verification process is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through a mail.
8. The officer will send the information n through the mail or can collect it from the office.
9. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
10. The processing time for this procedure is up to 1 week.

• The Emergency Locator Card includes names of persons to be notified in the event of an emergency. The Emergency Locator Card is kept on file at the overseas Mission and in Washington.

• The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, constitutes authority for requesting the information.
