West Bengal - Online Obtain Electricity Connection

Step 1 :First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. Please visit the following link to get the required documents list for this procedure Link for Electricity Connection Required Documents page

Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online Link for online portal.

Step 3 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please click “CONSUMER CORNER” menu. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Yellow”.

Note: The fields marked with "*" are mandatory

Step 4 :User will get a drop down menu as shown below. Please select “Connection Management” sub option to get another drop down menu. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 5 :From the drop down menu as shown below. Please select “Online Application” option. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 6 : Applicant will get a drop down menu as shown below. Please select “New Connection (LT Others)” option. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 7 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please click “NewUser” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 8 : ''' User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please enter prompted details as appropriate and click “Generate OTP” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 9 : Please follow the resulting screen prompt as appropriate to complete registration process.

Step 10 :Please come back to the home page as shown below. Please enter the login credentials as appropriate and click “Login” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 11 : Once login, in the New Connection application page. Applicant Need to click on the “Connection for Individual” button.

Step 12 : Applicant will reach a new screen. Please complete the prompted details as appropriate and click “Validate” button at the bottom.

Step 13 : Applicant shall continue filling the page prompts, upload required documents and click “Submit All Details” button.

Step 14 : Upon submission applicant will get “New Connection Applied Successfully” message along with the system generated application no. Please save it for future reference.

Step 15 : This application will be processed further. Please adhere to notification and follow as advised to get the connection.
