Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining Income Certificate
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this page please select “New User” option which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image, to register yourself.

Step 4 : In this page select the document type from the dropdown menu. Also enter the document number and verification text in the textbox and click the checkbox highlighted in Yellow. Then click “Continue” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Now complete the registration form with valid details and click “Continue to Register” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : In this page enter the Access code and Password received in your mobile or Email. Also enter the verification text in the textbox and click “Complete Registration” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : After successful registration process you will receive the registration acknowledgment as shown below. Now go back to the home page.

Step 8 : In this page, click “Apply For Certificates Online” option which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 9 : Now select “Apply for Services” option under “Apply Online” section which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.

Step 10 : Now select “Apply” tab against “Issuance of Income Certificate” option. Refer the below image where it is highlighted in Yellow.

Step 11 : Check the personal details which you have already entered during registration process. Then click “Continue” tab highlighted in RED to move to the next page.

Step 12 : Now complete the application form and click “Continue to Next” tab highlighted in RED to move to the next page.

Step 13 : Now select the documents from the dropdown menu and upload it using “Upload” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 14 : Then in the next screen click “Choose File” tab highlighted in RED to attach the file. Then click the checkbox highlighted in RED. Then click “Upload” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 15 : Then the page appears as shown below.

Step 16 : Then Complete payment gateway as required. Then click appropriate tab to submit the application. User gets acknowledgement for the application made online. Please keep it safe.
Step 17 : This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
Step 18 : Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying. Applicant shall get the certificate as notified.
