Apply In-person:

  1. Applicant must visit the Office of the deputy commissioner / sub district magistrate/sub divisional magistrate to apply in person with the documents specified under required documents session. Link for contact : NEW DELHI MUNICIPAL COUNCIL and e-district
  2. Please go to the respective office. Submit the completed application obtained from office or can be downloaded from the following link: Application
  3. Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
  4. This application will be verified by the respective authorities as per instruction.
  5. There will be a ground level verification and scrutiny of the documents and details provided.
  6. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective DC to decide and issue the Income Certificate to the applicant.
  7. Applicant will get the certificate in 14 days after due verification.

Apply Online - New Delhi Obtain Income Certificate Online with Images

  1. Use the following link to reach online portal. Link: CITIZEN'S CORNER
  2. In the given page, please select “new user” option to reach a new page. Follow page prompts to register.
  3. Now one can use the registered users login option in the home page to reach the login page.
  4. Login using the credentials.
  5. Once login, user can select apply tab against issuance of income certificate to reach next page.
  6. Fill out the online application form with required details.
  7. Upload the scanned copies of the relevant documents.
  8. Complete payment gateway as required.
  9. User gets acknowledgement for the application made online.
  10. Please keep it safe.
  11. This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
  12. Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying. Applicant shall get the certificate as notified.



Through CSC:

  1. Use the following link to find the centre. Link: CSC centers
  2. Please go the respective office.
  3. Application can be obtained from the authorities.
  4. Submit the complete application along with required documents to the operator in the centre.
  5. Operator will check the details and start to process online using the computer.
  6. Applicant will get the transaction ID for the application made. Please keep it safe for future reference.
  7. This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
  8. Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying. Applicant shall get the certificate as notified.

  • Self declaration from the applicant.
  • Residential Proof: Residential Certificate issued by Local administration office/ Aadhar card/ Passport / Driving License / Ration Card / Govt. Id card / Defence ID Card / PAN Card.
  • Age proof (birth certificate / school certificate)
  • Income Proof: Salary certificate, Income proof from competent authority, income tax return acknowledgement.
  • Applicant passport size photograph.
  • 2 different Gazette Officers certification (as per requirement)
  • Education records duly signed
  • Aadhaar card
  • Land revenue receipt (in case of farmer if available).
  • Affix stamp as advised by authorities if required.
