Procedure

1. Go to the Barbados Licensing Authority to apply for an International Driving Licence.
2. Complete an application form.
3. Submit the completed form along with your valid driving licence, attested copies of address proof and birth certificate, valid passport, valid visa and 2 passport size photograph.
4. Pay the required fees before receiving your license.

International Driver's License $65.00 (BDS)

Validity

The International Driving Licence has a maximum validity of one year.

Citizens are required to get their licence from the country they're visiting within one year period.

The Motor Licensing Authority of Barbados also issues International Driving Licence to it's citizens.

Need for the Document

A Driving Licence is an official document certifying that the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor vehicle or vehicles. Citizens of Barbados travelling in foreign countries may be allowed to drive with an International Driving Licence.
