ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for License to Export Seafood in person, the applicant has to visit the Department of Marine Resources in his/her state of residence.
  2. The address and contact details can be found in the “Office Location & Contacts” section.
  3. Visit the office and get an application form for License to Export Seafood from the relevant authority. Or it can be downloaded from link here
  4. Complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
  5. Once completed filling the application form, make sure that you have attached all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  6. Then, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.
  7. After submission, your application along with the attached documents will undergo inspection by the Department of Marine Resources.
  8. Pay relevant fee upon approval and get License Certificate.

  • Must be in possession of a factory vessel licence or processing plant licence.
  • Hazard analysis documentation (specify product).
  • HACCP Plan documentation (specify product).
  • Must have at least 2 HACCP certified persons employed by the plant or facility.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must be in possession of a factory vessel licence or a processing plant licence.


FeesEdit

  • The fees to be paid is BS$500.00 per product.


ValidityEdit

The licence is valid for the product season:

  • Lobster (August 1st to March 31st)
  • Stone crab (October 16th to May 31st)
  • Scale Fish (January 1st to December 31st)
