Procedure

This procedure explains various ways to Renew Driving School License or Permit (Accreditation) in Zamboanga City.

Apply In Person

1. Here are the procedures on how can you renew a Driving School License or Accreditation. To apply for the procedure, go to LTO's Traffic Safety Division (TSD) - Central Office or any LTO Regional Offices.
2. At the LTO office, ask where can you get an Application Form for Driving School. To save you some time, you may also check the link provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can click to download the Application Form for Driving School.
3. Have the application form notarized.
4. Submit the completed form together with all the required documents.
5. The LTO personnel will check your documents. For incomplete applications, LTO will give you 5 days to comply or submit the documents that you were lacking.
6. After evaluating your application, LTO will schedule a re-inspection of your driving school facilities. In case your school fails the re-inspection LTO will give you a chance to comply with their standards. After that you can request for another re-inspection.
7. After passing the inspection, you will receive a PAY ORDER SLIP from the secretariat. The LTO personnel will instruct you to proceed to the cashier for payment of the accreditation fee.
8. Submit a copy of the Official Receipt to the Secretariat.
9. The Office will let you know when can you come back to collect your Certificate of Accreditation.

Required Documents

General requirements:

1. Filled out application form
2. Bring original (to be presented) and one photocopy (to be submitted) of your school's Audited Financial Statement for the previous year
3. One (1) Certified true copy of valid Business Permit / any proof of Application for Renewal of Business Permit
4. List of accredited instructors with their driver's license number and other pertinent qualifications
5. Previous original Certificate of Accreditation or certified true copy of original (in case of loss)
6. Inspection report of Driving School facilities
