This procedure explains various ways to Obtain Tax Clearance Certificate in Zamboanga City.


Please follow the guide below to obtain Tax Clearance Certificate:

  1. Prepare the requirements:
    1. To obtain the Certificate of No Tax Liability, Payment Form (BIR Form 0605) and eFPS Payment Confirmation Receipt:
      • Certificate of Registration (COR);
      • Letter of Request for the enrollment in eFPS that include two authorized users with the following details: name, email, contact numbers and position;
      • The tax payment form and printed BIR acknowledgement email;
      • The Written request for tax clearance.

    2. To obtain Tax Clearance Certificate:
      • The Certificate of No Tax Liability;
      • Duly accomplished application form for Tax Celarance Application ;
      • The BIR Form 0605 (Payment Form) and eFPS Bank Payment Confirmation Receipt;
      • Photocopy of the COR;
      • Two loose documentary stamps (do not affix);
      • Previous tax clearance issued (if applicable);
      • The Written request for tax clearance;
      • Latest Tax Returns filed and paid through eFPS from the payment for Registration Fee.

  2. Obtain Tax Clearance Certificate:
    1. Apply for the Certificate of No Tax Liability
      Visit your RDO Office Locations with the required documents. Follow entire officer’s guide to apply for the Certificate of No Tax Liability. The officer shall check if you have any delinquency or missed tax payment or not, you will be asked to pay for delinquency and penalty fee if you have. If all conditions are reached, the RDO will issue the Certificate of No Tax Liability. To move to the next steps, please pay for the Tax Clearance Certification fee through eFPS. Then, attach the eFPS Bank Payment Confirmation Receipt.

    2. Obtain Tax Clearance Certificate
      Now you just visit your BIR Regional Office Office Locations with the required documents. Follow all of officer’s instructions, if all requirement is passed, you can obtain your Tax Clearance Certificate.

You did not miss any tax payment. You can apply for Tax Clearance Certificate. This is an official document issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), it is commonly requested by the taxpayers or businesses used as a verification to the investors or clients that the business is tax compliant or of good standing. This is also a required document to apply for government tenders or render particular services. You should know the location of the Revenue District Office (RDO) in the locality where your company/business belongs and also the BIR Regional Office.
