Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To renew a Boat Renting (Tourism) Business License or Permit in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Tourism office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. A licensee may apply for the renewal of the Boat Renting (Tourism) Business License or Permit in Zambia by approaching the office of the Board of Tourism, sixty days prior to the expiration of the valid licence.
4. The application for the renewal of the licence will be provided in the prescribed manner.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
6. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
7. Pay the fee as the authorities suggest.
8. Upon satisfaction, within thirty days of receiving an application, the Licensing Board will approve the license. (NOTE: The authority may accept or reject the renewal application and provide reasons for rejection, if unsatisfied).
9. Collect the renewed permit from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.
