Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a plant import permit in Zambia, the applicant has to visit the Zambia Agriculture Research Institute, for the main office visit link.
  2. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. Fill the application form provided to you in the Agriculture Research Institute after understanding guidelines properly.
  4. Submit the application with necessary attachments to the office.
  5. Pay the fee as per given in the “Fees” section of this page.
  6. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the import permit will be accessible.
  7. The applicant gets the permit in a stipulated period of time.
