Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for offer letters (State Land and Customary Land) in Zambia, the applicant has to visit the Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection in Zambia, for the main office visit link.
2. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. Fill the application form provided in the Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection office.
4. Submit the application with necessary attachments to the office.
5. Pay the fee as per given in the “Fees” section of this page.
6. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, a provisional certificate will be accessible.
7. The applicant gets the offer letter in a stipulated period of time that is around 30 days.

• Certificate of Incorporation & shareholders forms

For Non-Zambians

• Permanent Residence proof
• An investor within the meaning of ZDA(Zambia Development Agency).
• Written consent from the President.
• Eight site plans endorsed by the chief and council
• Numbering fee receipt
• Certificate of Incorporation & shareholders forms

Eligibility

• The applicant should be 21 years & above(for Zambians).
• The company should be registered under the Companies Act & less than 25 percent of shares should be owned by non-Zambian.
• It should be Co-operative society registered under the Co-operative Societies Act
• The body corporate should be registered under the Land (Perpetual Succession) Act
• A commercial bank should be registered under the Companies Act & Banking & Financial Services Act.

Fees

• Application Fee: Pay as per the authorities suggest.

Validity

• This licence will be valid for the period mentioned in the letter.
