Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To obtain a Liquor Licensing or Permit in Rufunsa in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the District Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.

3. The applicant shall obtain the application form for the permit from the office of District Secretary at the Ministry of Local Government.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.

6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted the license.
8. Collect the license from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

• Retail Liquor License: ZK 240.
  

For Wholesale liquor Licenses:

• Bar: ZK240.
• Airport: ZK 180.
• Hotel: ZK 300.
• Private hotel: ZK 240.
• Restaurant: ZK 180.
• Railway restaurant car: ZK 45.
• Passenger vessel: ZK 90.
• Theatre: ZK 120.
• Club: ZK 120.
  

Validity

The validity of the permit will be for one year.
