Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Incentives under Bonded Warehouse Facility in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Zambia Revenue Authority, please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant at the revenue authority office.
4. Once understanding the guideline properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. After the completion and verification of all the required documents, the incentive will be offered.
8. Collect the incentive permit or certificate from the office within a stipulated period of time.

Eligibility

This facility is for those who deal in slow moving goods that may include machinery and equipment, raw materials, and brand new motor vehicles to import and account for revenue at the time of consumption.

Fees

Application Fee: Pay as per the authority’s request.

Validity

At the inland port the goods can be final cleared or warehoused in a bonded warehouse for a period of up-to twelve (12) months.

An investor will not be entitled to the incentives provided unless the investor holds a licence, permit or certificate of registration under the Zambia Development Agency Act.
