Apply In-Person
- To apply for an applied research certificate in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Seed Control and Certification Institute (SCCI) of Zambia. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
- Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- An application form can be obtained by the applicant upon visiting the Seed Control and Certification Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
- Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
- Pay the fee as per the authorities suggestion.
- Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted for renewal.
- Collect the registration certificate from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

- Copy of proof of ownership of premises or if premises are leased.
- Copy of tenancy agreement.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (Only applicable to newly built facilities).
- Copy of proof of payment for application and inspection.
