Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a single entry visa in Zambia, the applicant will have to visit the department of immigration, for the main office visit link.
  2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant upon visiting the department of immigration.
  4. Once understanding the guideline properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
  6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
  7. After the completion and verification of all the documents, the visa will be accessible.
  8. Collect the visa from the office or wait for the visa to arrive via post on the postal address in a stipulated time.


Apply Online

  1. Visit the following portal online registration portal.
  2. Login if you already have an account or register yourself.
  3. Provide the details asked like name, email and passport number.
  4. Choose “Type of Representative” from the drop-down menu provided.
  5. Click on the “Register” button.
  6. Go to the Log in portal again and login with your username and password.
  7. After you have successfully logged into the system with your account credentials, click “My Profile” to access your personal profile information.
  8. Data form will be displayed and the information will be organized in 3 tabs: Identity, Address, Contact.
  9. Fill in all the appropriate details and after you have finished click the “Save” button to save the information.
  10. Open the “Contact” tab and provide your up-to-date contact information, so that the Immigration Department could reach you for questions and notices. Otherwise, you may miss some important information. Click “Save” after you have finished.
  11. Now, go to “My Workplace” you will see a links under “Available Permits” for various permits
  12. Select the “Single Entry Visa” service from the permits list present in the menu.
  13. Select the “Single Entry Visa” service from the permits list present in the menu.
  14. Click “Next” and complete the application that consists of a form for a Single Entry Visa and again click “Next”.
  15. Review the application requirements, scan and upload the required documents, click “Next”.
  16. Preview the completed application form as a PDF file (you can print or save it for your records).
  17. If all information is correct, click “Confirm” and preview the system-generated Electronic Bill (you can print or save it for your records).
  18. If you accept the fees and have your credit card ready, click on the “Pay Online” button. and you will be redirected to the bank site for secure payment processing.
  19. Enter your billing details, click “Next” and then click the “Pay” button.
  20. Upon completion of payment, you will be returned to the Payment Receipt page.
  21. Review your payment confirmation message, print or download Payment Receipt in PDF format, for your records.
  22. To complete the application process, click on the “Finish” button. You will see the number of the application case you have submitted.
  23. Your application can be tracked after logging in and going to the “Submitted” section.
  24. Wait for approval of your application.
  25. When your application is approved, the permit will be accessible.
  26. Once logged in, go to “My Workplace” and click on the Approved cases folder.
  27. Highlight the case and click on “View case”. You then click on “Outgoing Documents”, highlight the case and click “open form”.
  28. The Approval/Rejection letter will be displayed for you to print, save or download.

  • Certified copy of valid passport of applicant (bio data & last endorsement stamp for Zambia).
  • One recent passport size photograph.
