Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a duplicate Visiting Visa in Zambia, the applicant(agent applying on behalf of recipient) will have to visit the department of immigration, please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
- Please make sure to have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Upon visiting, the applicant will be provided with an application form to be filled in the immigration office.
- Once understanding the guidelines properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
- Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
- Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After the completion and verification of all the documents, the permit will be accessible.
- Collect the visa from the office or wait for the visa to arrive via post on the postal address in a stipulated time.

- Covering letter addressed to the Director General of Immigration from applicant.
- Letter of consent from host supporting the application.
- Proof of status of host (whether a national or a permit holder).
- Copy of return air ticket.
- Prescribed fee receipt.

EligibilityEdit
A Visiting Permit is issued to an ordinary visitor who wishes to remain in Zambia for a period in excess of ninety (90) days.
FeesEdit
Application Fee: K 5000.
ValidityEdit
This permit is valid as the original permit and can be extended up to nine (09) months within a whole time period of twelve (12) months.
