Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Private Post Box in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the post office of your area, for the main office visit link.
2. Applicants should present themselves at the post office to complete the application form and can use this link to download the form application form.
3. Please make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Upon the submission of the form an application fee is to be paid to the concerned authorities.
5. After the payment is successful, and the prerequisite is met, the application will be successfully submitted to the concerned authorities.
6. Keep in constant contact with the authorities for smooth completion of procedure and to receive permission for your private post box.

Instructions

The lease of the Post-box or bag will be terminated by either party giving a 30 days’ notice for any reason whatsoever or none and the following conditions will apply:

• Where the termination is at the instance of the customer, lease shall terminate forthwith. However, the customer shall not be entitled to a refund for the remaining period of the lease.
• Where the termination is at the instance of the Corporation and the termination is not as a result of any default by the customer; the Corporation shall refund the customer an amount proportional to the remaining period of the lease period.
