- To apply for a Tobacco Collectors Agreement, the applicant will need to submit an application form but before doing so, they will have to contact the Yukon government to confirm that the applicant is applying for a license, here is the contact Link
- The applicant has to download and complete the application form given in the following Link
- Fill out the application forms with all the relevant details.
- The applicant will need to attach a copy of their Business name registration.
- Submit the application form to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- The applicant does not need to pay fees for this procedure. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
- Once the Tobacco collector agreement has been signed and approved by the Ministry of Finance, the applicant shall receive their license by mail.
- Once the applicant obtains their license, they are appointed as tobacco tax collectors and must pay the tax every month.

- The applicant must be 19 years of age or above.
- The applicant must have a business plan and financial statements.
- The applicant must agree to report and filing requirements, which includes:
- Reporting and remitting of tax.
