Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the nearest Department of Environment office.
2. Address and contact details of the offices can be found in the link below Contact link
3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the relevant department. Or click here to download Application form
4. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
5. Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
6. Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. The applicant has to pay required fees for the license, through any of the available payment modes.
7. Fees details can be obtained from the office. Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
8. On completion of the review, the office will contact the applicant through phone or email regarding the collection of Registration Certificate.

Apply through mail

1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration through mail, the applicant has to forward a paper application to the Department of Environment office.
2. Mailing Address of the office is as follows: Environmental Programs Branch (V-8), Department of Environment, Government of Yukon (located at 10 Burns Road, Whitehorse), Box 2703, Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 2C6.

6. Then, send the application and documents to the above mentioned mail address, through a safe and secure mail service.

9. On completion of the review, the office will contact the applicant through phone or email regarding the collection of Registration Certificate.
