Apply Online

1. To Apply for an Affidavit of Citizenship, the applicant has to make an application through the following link
2. The applicant has to click the “File online”.
3. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Create account”.
4. Enter the valid email id and click the “Sign-up” button.
5. Now the applicant has to click the email id and password and then click “Sign-in”.
6. Select the application from the following list.
7. Enter all the details in the application form.
8. Also, upload all the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
9. Complete the fee process in online mode.
10. After completing, click the “Save & Submit” button.

12. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a notification through mail or email.
14. The applicant will get the appointment date through the mail for biometric purposes.
15. The applicant has to visit the nearest USCIS Application Support Centre on-date of the appointment.
16. And also complete the further process, to get an affidavit of citizenship.
17. The processing time for getting an Affidavit of citizenship takes up to 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

1. To Apply for an Affidavit of Citizenship, the applicant has to approach the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Service (Department of Homeland Security) link
2. The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the essential documents along with the completed application form to the USCIS mailing address.
