- To Apply for an Affidavit of Citizenship, the applicant has to make an application through the following link
- The applicant has to click the “File online”.
- If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Create account”.
- Enter the valid email id and click the “Sign-up” button.
- Now the applicant has to click the email id and password and then click “Sign-in”.
- Select the application from the following list.
- Enter all the details in the application form.
- Also, upload all the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Complete the fee process in online mode.
- After completing, click the “Save & Submit” button.

- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a notification through mail or email.
- The applicant will get the appointment date through the mail for biometric purposes.
- The applicant has to visit the nearest USCIS Application Support Centre on-date of the appointment.
- And also complete the further process, to get an affidavit of citizenship.
- The processing time for getting an Affidavit of citizenship takes up to 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- To Apply for an Affidavit of Citizenship, the applicant has to approach the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Service (Department of Homeland Security) link
- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the essential documents along with the completed application form to the USCIS mailing address.
